Directions for Use:
Set the calibration ring on the syringe plunger according to the weight usage requirement. Place the syringe between the side teeth of the horse, aiming as far down on the back of the tongue as possible. Gently push the plunger to release the gel.
Reference the horse’s weight, give DiaGel accordingly.
Newborn to 120 lbs: 10 mL
121 to 250 lbs: 15 mL
251 to 500 lbs: 20 mL
501+ lbs: 30 mL
Primary Use:
Give the recommended amount by weight at time of digestive disruption. If additional usage is necessary, use the recommended amount by weight every 6 hours for up to 3 days.
Pre-Stress Use:
Give the recommended amount by weight 2 hours prior to stress-inducing event. Repeat as necessary by weight every 12 hours for up to 5 days.
Cautions:
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product usage and consult your veterinarian.
